Drilling Helper
WDC Exploration & Wells Helpers are responsible for assisting the Drill Operator in the operation of air/mud rotary, sonic, reverse rotary, casing hammer, and hollow-stem auger drilling rigs. Helper or Rig Hand responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the drilling equipment and assisting the Driller in completing the operations. These operations require the physical ability for frequent heavy lifting, carrying, and using the various materials, tools, and equipment at the drill site to keep the rig in operation. Also, applicant will assist in cleaning the rig, site housekeeping, and breakdown of the rigs for movement to the next location. These operations are carried out in urban as well as remote rural locations across the country and may require the applicant to be assigned to work away from their home city for extended periods.
