Submersible Pump Sizing and Selection
Provides an overview of submersible pump sizing, selection and power requirements. Also explains how total dynamic head (TDH) is calculated by using vertical lift, friction loss, and pressure variables and will show attendees how to apply TDH information to a pump selection curve diagram. This seminar offers students the chance to handle actual submersible pumps and motors.
Drilling Fluids Management
Students are educated in the fundamentals of mud properties and the benefits to well yields by maintaining appropriate mud programs while drilling. Portable mud pits utilizing linear motion shaker technology is also addressed.
Direct Push Technologies
Appropriate for use in the urban setting, Direct Push Technology serves many investigation procedures and remediation practices. Learn about dual wall sampling, discrete water sample recovery, and small diameter well construction in this hour long presentation, as well as the use of geophysical instrumentation to accelerate site characterization.
Each seminar is worth 0.1 CEU credits, those completing a class will be presented with a Continuing Education Unit Certificate.
